The Deadly Dozen triumphs in Texas

Saturday, 22nd March 2025 marked a huge milestone for Deadly Dozen—our first-ever race in the USA! Hosted at the athletics track in Waller, Houston, this event brought together just over 100 competitors ready to take on the challenge. It was incredible to see athletes from both the U.S. and Mexico line up for this landmark event.

The fastest time of the day belonged to Jonathan Stern (49:58), setting the benchmark for future American races. Adding to the excitement, Deadly Dozen CEO Jason Curtis not only oversaw the event but also competed in the solo race—earning an impressive third-place finish even with jet lag!

Volunteers Who Went the Extra Mile

Deadly Dozen races don’t just run on competition—they run on community. And Houston proved that in a big way. So many racers finished their own events and then immediately stepped up to help judge, keeping the event fair, smooth, and full of encouragement. Their passion and commitment helped make this event a true success.

Next Stop: San Antonio!

The next Deadly Dozen USA race will take place on June 14th at Cornerstone Christian School in San Antonio and it’s shaping up to be an even bigger event. More competitors, more action, and another chance to prove what Deadly Dozen is all about.

See you in San Antonio!
